I took several clips on my bmpcc4k, the first few were pro-res hq and the last few were braw. I used the toolbox to import the braw clips, connected everything together, applied some basic luts, and exported "Apple Devices 1080P." When I open the resulting file in VLC, playback freezes when it gets to the braw clip. If I scrub back to the pro-res clips, it resumes. Scrubbing into the braw results in a static image while the audio still plays. Before this I tried an hevc 4k export and that scrubbed and played back properly in VLC.

Sorry you're having issues! This is not something that we've experienced or anyone has reported before.

Are you sure your media is online and connected (and you're not just watching previously cached data)?

See: https://brawtoolbox.io/relinking/#common-mistake-with-renders

Does the footage play back correctly in the Final Cut Pro timeline? Are you able to render it?

Have you tried granting sandbox access to the footage?
