System freeze when converting huge xml files

First of all, thank you for this utility.
I try to use jtm to convert a 1.3GB .xml file to json and each time my system runs out of RAM, freezes, and a force reboot is necessary. It works fine for ordinary xml files.

If I let the system freeze it kills the process after a while. If you want to reproduce this:

$ curl -Lfv -o database.zip -u USERNAME:PASSWORD https://www.drugbank.ca/releases/5-1-6/downloads/all-full-database
