Wine use SDL2 to handle joysticks, which also use new joysticks subsystem on linux. jstest-gtk is configuring an old one and will be useless at best and harmful at worst.

Sadly, there are no good calibration tools for new subsystem besides using evdev-joystick with evdev, which require some skills. Anyways, jstest-gtk is not useful.

Hello @v1993 , thanks for sharing!
Do you suggest some good alternative, accompanied by a tutorial?
Or you should create a pull request with the awnser. Anything will be appreciated.
Again, thanks.

As I already said

Sadly, there are no good calibration tools for new subsystem besides using evdev-joystick with evdev, which require some skills.

Most joysticks are already good without calibration tho, but few that need it could be a lot of pain in one's bottom.

I can show as example setup I'm using for Switch Pro controller (script and udev rule) if you're interested in elaborating on it.

I found this "tutorial" http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/bionic/man1/evdev-joystick.1.html
Anyway, I interested in your example. Just one note, Is it works only in Switch? I mean, Is is a generic setup?
