If you ask the installer to attempt to mount /usr/lib to a partition on another drive, with or without an additional separate /usr partition, the resulting system boots into kernel panic, not finding /bin/init or /etc/init or /sbin/init

Observed in lmde5 beta. Observed in lmde 3 and 4. 32bit.

Also, fails if mounting /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu elsewhere.

And mounting /lib elsewhere fails.

Does not fail if mounting /usr/lib/libreoffice elsewhere, ditto /usr/lib/thunderbird
