🧪 End-to-End test of PowerBI setup

User Story

As an AP Engineer I would like to carry out a manual end-to-end test of the PowerBI setup with the master author to ensure that when the work becomes unblocked, we can deliver a working solution.
The tests must be completed by February 8th.

Value / Purpose

Currently, full implementation is blocked because we're waiting for a service principal to be approved by tech services. Further, the full rollout might be delayed due to the fact that the solution requires installation of the ODBC driver on DOM1 devices which takes a while. Nevertheless, an end-to-end test even if manually configured will allow us a certainty that the proposed solution will function once the empediemnts are removed. That way we can park the work until closer to the rollout date.

Proposal

1. Terraform an instance of EC2 and autoprovision gateway.
2. Manually authenticate the gateway to the PowerBI service and share it.
3. Configure connectivity with Athena and share the datasource in PowerBI
4. Terraform EC2 instance and install PBI Desktop
5. Authenticate with PBI
6. Set up Athena connectivity
7. Complete connectivity with Gateway
8. Document the findings

End to End test carried out Adjustments made to the PowerBI role to align better with author requirements. Follow-on tests carried out. Authoring is enabled. Further adjustments to the gateway have been captured. This story can be closed, the gateway one carried over.
