Consider if the update to pytest 6.2.x is worthwhile

The change log shows some features and performance improvements that may be useful. These include (my opinion only):

• reason printed with --verbose for tests skipped, xpassed, or xfailed add option to see skip reason and verbose pytest-dev/pytest#2044
• "skip tests" can now reference value in user supplied dictionary: Allow contibuting additional global variables for skipif/xfail pytest-dev/pytest#7695

That's not a huge win, so might be better to defer to our yet-to-be-defined normal upgrade process. :)

Those features seem useful, and it's worth not getting too far behind the latest release.
