Bullet Stop not working I think?

The Bullet Stop that is shown in the vid

does not work on my end when I tried 1 shot from Ebony and Ivory while mashing Shoot it just normally juggles the enemy. I tried restarting the game after enabling the option as well.

Is there a specific requirement in order to do this (like on a selected Difficulty) or just a code bug?

Edit: Tried on both Style Switcher 3.1.3 (but seems to be 3.0.0) and 3.1.6 and didn't work.
