To simplify the UI and the request editing logic the URL editor is planned to be removed in Q4 2020. The end-user now can use the server selector to provide the base URI if needed and the rest of URI/query parameters can be defined in the request editor.
Action items:
Gather analytics for request URL usage in Anypoint platform
Evaluate risks of removing the URL editor:
Is there unrelated to the console feature that requires custom input from the user?
Are users prefer URL editor over form below?
Add deprecation message to the request editor for period of at least 2 months
Enable feedback channel from the internal teams, clients, and the community
Remove the URL editor and move the URL computation logic directly to the request editor.
