I guess it would be good if there would be real GitHub issues instead just TODOs in the source code.

This way people would be able to track those issues and have a better overview what is open.

Disclaimer: I'm not very experienced with XMPP protocol programming to be honest but I try to help when possible and I might have time in December to play around with it. 👍
