Chrome offers to install gatsby-starter-default on desktop, and you can do something similar on mobile to install a "starter" app. I'm not sure we ever intended for the site to be a PWA, or if there is a good use case for that.

Plan

  • Investigate if there is a good reason to have this site as a PWA
  • In not, strip out the code that is prompting the gatsby-starter-default install
  • If there is, rename the install and check the behaviour is as we want
