Steps to reproduce:

  1. Copy content of test sample: https://a.pomf.se/mpxeqh.7z
  2. paste it and send

You may need to repeat (multiple times, quickly) step 2

During pasting & sending CPU usage of xorg increases dramatically (from ~idle to even ~100%) which renders whole environment unresponsive.

I also experienced this issue, but I thought I had accidently compiled my fork with modifications so I didn't think about reporting it.
