Potential bug with notifications

In troubleshooting a ticket for DD app, I discovered a bug. It is quite possibly the problem the user is experiencing.

Done on Pixel 8 Pro using Android 15 and v27 of the DD app.

Steps:

Enable reminders in DD app.
Test reminders to verify
Go to Android settings app and locate the DD app
Open notifications for the DD app
Disable reminders
Return to the DD app to set a reminder
Reminders appear enabled
Add a new reminder
Test to verify reminder is not saved and doesn't fire

Desired behavior: Android DD app should not show reminders as enabled if they are disabled for the app via Android settings. Also, if reminders are disabled via Android settings, the DD app should not allow the user to enter a new reminder (because it will fail).

Thank you. I've verified that enabling the daily reminder checkbox does not prompt the user to allow notifications if they are disabled in system settings. Also, the notification channel's setting needs to be checked.
