Version (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 24.04
  • Browser: Firefox 133.0.3 and Chromium 130.0.6723.69
  • Web Clipper version: 0.10.5
  • Obsidian version: 1.7.7

Describe the bug

When a default vault is set for a template that is not Last used, changing the vault when clipping the page does not result in changing the vault that the page is clipped to. Note that if the default is set to Last used then changing the vault works as expected.

Expected behavior

The clip is added to the vault selected when clipping the page not the default provided in the template.

URLs where the bug occurs

I've replicated on multiple pages. Here's one:
https://www.weecology.org/

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add two vaults to the clipper in General -> Vaults
  2. In the template choose one of the vaults as the default (not Last used)
  3. Start clipping a page using the template
  4. Change the vault from the default to the other vault
  5. Click Add to Obsidian
  6. The clip is added to the default vault set in the template, not the vault selected when clipping the page

Replicated using the Default template
