I need install toolbox for activate the CarPlay.

I would like to know if my fireware is compatible with Toolbox and the patch swap or if I should upgrade to the 478T? I have unlocked the test mode with VCDS and I have 2 SD slots.
2nd question, can I use a micro SD on an SD adapter (flash drive).
