demo data scripts do not take the many flavors of Deveo repos into consideration

demo data scripts look for vcs family, but Deveo has four repo types: Github, Mercurial, WebDav, and Subversion. Need to update this code to allow for sample commits of this additional repo types that belong to the same vcs family
