Option to disable thumbnails for certain file extensions?

We experience issues with the thumbnail generation for .dwg files on one of our systems.
Error in the php log looks like this:
pimcore.ERROR: Couldn't create thumbnail of image /folder/file.dwg: Exception: Unable to generate thumbnail for asset 12345 from source image

We'd like to disable the thumbnail generation for .dwg files but we did not find a setting for that in the config but I guess it must be possible somewhere so maybe somebody has an option to disable thumbnails for certain file extensions?

I had a similar issue with unwanted thumbnails that corrupted SVG files. I disabled anything related to SVGs in the delegates.xml file for ImageMagick. That worked for me and Pimcore ignored all SVGs when it is generating thumbnails anywhere.
