At the moment, the auth endpoint uses scope: 'openid', hard coded to authorize with an identity provider.

For the purpose of controlling permissions, we need to also ask for a groups scope to have our IDP include a users group membership in the id token.

The authorization scope could be set as a new parameter in conf/config.js.
