Description

In articles, the "Show more" button in expandable paragraphs is too close to the paragraph below it.
Another issue is the behavior when users click on "Show less". The transition is too slow and scrolls up in a way that seems unnecessary.

Expected behaviour

  • There should be adequate space between the "Show less/Show more" button and the paragraph after it: 32px should be ok.
  • The transition when "showing less" should be made smoother (faster and without scrolling up unless necessary)

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to this URL https://ourworldindata.org/simon-ehrlich-bet
  2. Scroll down to the 5th paragraph
  3. See error

@mrwbkrm we discussed this issue (and a similar one) last week and Ike wanted to chat with you about the the option to create a new component that is optimized for use in articles (the current one was done for topic pages where the styling choices make more sense).
