I've just switched Debian (Ubuntu/Devuan/Mint/...) packages to your fork. Thus, I'm forwarding bug #815447 by Sophoklis Goumas:

It would be useful if qjoypad could emulate key combinations that include a Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Super(Win) modifier.

One possible way to implement that would be capturing shifted/alted/... keys. Another would be asking for unshifted key and presenting four (or more) toggleable buttons for the modifier bits.
