Does this library support MediaPlaylists

Will there be support for standalone media playlists and not just Multivariant playlists?
I like the library; I'm sad that the media playlist didn't work.

For now, no, I didn't plan to support playing directly media playlists.

I saw that other players such as HLS.js were able to, and I'm wondering, is there many packagers out there only producing media playlists?
I've only encountered contents with Multivariant playlists in professional settings but maybe for simpler cases, when you only propose a single track and quality, it makes sense to go directly to a media playlist.

It could be simple to add, but right now I'm wondering how we're supposed to get many important metadata with only a media playlist (for example: video and audio codecs),. Though some other players seems to be able to play it so there should be solutions.
