Hi @pedrorijo91

On a statistics level, I was wondering if there would be way to mark each point as unforced error or winner ?
without having to complicate too much the way of using the application
for example in my case I never use the light button (are people using it on some watch models?), maybe it could be used to specify that the point just added was a winner, meaning if a point is marked and the light button not pressed, by default it would be counted as a UE for the team that lost the point

about the display, I am pretty sure it would be useless to show this information permanently on the screen. I think displaying the stats at the end of the game (or even not displaying them, just exporting them to GC) would be enough.

What do you think about all this ? I looked in existing issues but didn't find any related to this functionality
Thanks

Thank you for the idea, @Lysuo. Indeed, it could be interesting. As you said, maybe just export to GC or display the number of UE at the end.

it could be added either through the light, or when clicking the "start" button allow to choose between Undo and UE, e.g.

Yes I guess there are several options to integrate this in the worflow, the most important part to keep in mind (IMO) is: the less clicks needed at each point, the better!

exactly. clicking 3 or 4 buttons on each point is not gonna happen 😅 players would quit the app
It's also relevant for supporting touchscreen devices, which are currently not supported.

most important actions are definitely:

  1. add points to ourselves
  2. add points to opponents
  3. Undo
  4. increase Unforced Error counter (UE)
  5. finish game

not sure which other actions could be relevant in the near term

maybe 1 and 2 would keep the same button.
undo could be either in the lap button or keep in start button, as lap button is also used by some apps to exit
maybe start button could open a menu of secondary actions: undo, UE, others added in the future
