Gradient for Chord Diagram

Thank you for providing this library, especially the chord diagram!

In my case, i would like to add gradient to the ribbon in chord diagram. For example, from data A (color red) to data b (color blue), creating a gradient that transitions from one color to another. Also, it appears that the defs and fill properties do not support for the chord diagram.

Is it feasible to implement gradient support for the ribbons?
