Another No Display, but working sound and USB keyboard

Searching through the discussions I saw this post as I was experiencing the same issues:

I have a very similar setup, but I'm using a Pi4. I've put 10K pots on both the VO and between the Anode and a 5V bus on my breadboard. I've found with quick movements of the pot for the contrast, some blocks will briefly show on the screen, but nothing else.

I managed to get sound out of the I2S soundcard, using my Arturia MicroBrute (FYI, couldn't get the Novation Bass Station II to work).

Welp, I mixed up Vss and Vdd. I'll swap them when I get back home and report back. Hopefully, I didn't toast the display.
