Create the sets:
leaftype
leafshape
...

create a set for each leaftype eg.
leaftype:oblong
leafshape:linear
...

To find a tree which leaftype 'oblong' and leafshape 'linear', we can do a
SUNION of leaftype:oblong leafshape:linear
