qBT has a relatively new feature to create a subfolder for files that aren't contained in a folder - this is great!
In the past however I downloaded files that weren't in a subfolder. Just a file.
Now I want to move those individual files into a folder that is named exactly as the file is.
I have created the folder named after the file (sans the extension) of course and moved the original file into that subfolder but qBT can't find it when searching the base path. I end up with "missing files" for all of the torrent files that I moved.
Default Save Path: /Volumes/SeedDrive/complete/
When I download a new torrent that is an individual file and use qBT to create a subfolder for that file it works fine. I see the base path listed for the seeding torrent as "/Volumes/SeedDrive/complete/".
When I create a new directory named for the file, qBT can't find that directory for the seeding file in "/Volumes/SeedDrive/complete/".
EDIT:
I renamed the file to remove the extension so it would find the matching directory but qBT still thinks the file name has an extension because when I click on play it shows the path to the file and the filename still has the extension. This is the issue.
