qBittorrent promoting sites that openly share child porn

I have noticed by installing search plugins through qBittorrent client, which leads to this Github page, that some of the torrent sites openly host child porn. I do not think it is approproate to promote sites like this through an official Github page (or anywhere else). Is this an oversight or intentionally allowed?

I don't know why the authorities aren't/can't do something about it. I am asking if the community and the developers of qBittorrent think these kinds of sites should be promoted. I'm talking about Bit Search, I'm not going to link anything specific but you should be able to confirm this with pretty much any related search terms.

I don't have any clue what searching for "15 yo" (or "related" search terms) gets you, and no rational person here is going to try find out as the rest of us aren't searching for child porn like you are. But if you find it, just like you would if a Google search came back with something sketchy, you should report that site to the FBI. It has shit to do with qBittorrent. But note whatever that content is might be honeypots looking for people like you who are searching for that kind of content.

@Catriks Is it just the "bitsearch plug-in" returning this type of thing or does the main "bitsearch" website also produce same results?

Same results on the plugin and website, as far as I tested. Try searching for "15 yo" for example.

That's a DHT indexer kind of site. It doesn't store any content and it doesn't check what torrents it finds but it does have DMCA. Removing it would be the equivalent of banning the BitTorrent protocol because it can be used for piracy.

Im not concerned about piracy, I'm concerned about distribution of child porn. Banning the whole bittorrent protocol is not even remotely equivalent to deciding that qBittorrent reposotories should not be used to promote torrent sites that openly distribute child porn. With openly I mean that there are hundreds of torrents that blatantly imply child porn, that have been up for many years.
