I see a jump in upload data rate when bringing the screen back on. Sleep mode NOT selected on this desktop. I keep Task Manager running so I see a 5x or more jump in the out going data rate when I wake the screen. The windows setting is to turn off screen after 10 minutes but NEVER put computer to sleep.
When I moved the mouse to activate the screen, I saw a 10x jump in send data rate on Task Manager. And it has held this higher rate since. This has been going on for a long time (many months since I fist noticed it on Task Manager). Can someone explain it and how I might get around this drop off?
I try to make sure I upload at LEAST 2x to 5x (depending on how may seeders) of the files I down load so they don't just disappear.... trying to slow the lecher problems in file sharing. (I do up to 5x for files with 1 or 2 seeders). I currently have 180 files "running" - 38 stalled downloading 142 seeding
This is annoying that my uploads (maybe downloads also, not sure) I am not sure about in coming as I have few at the moment.
(BTW I have 180 active files "running" at the moment so don't see a reason for sudden change) This jump seems to happen each time I, at least 90% (the other 10% not looking at task manager).
Can someone explain this? Is there a way to stop it dropping the speed down during this idle time?
