While the exact image used in the docs is indeed not in a registry, many other QGIS Server images are - including the official one. Should the docs use this image, or at least mention it?
If the containerized deployment section is meant to be about building images rather than using ready-made ones, another place to mention this could be the getting started section: A docker run qgis/qgis-server is, for many, probably the fastest possible way of getting started with QGIS Server.
Is this needed? I'd be willing to contribute if so.
@benoitdm-oslandia may I request your feedback/feelings on this issue report, please? I think you have a better understanding of these items, and a better overview of the sections than I do. Thanks.
To be honest that chapter looks more like someone's notebook than an application manual.
I would prune the whole sections about k8, swarm and AWS.
They aren't specific to QGIS server and IMHO they don't belong here.
Theses are just tips and are not intent to cover all the detail of containerized deployment as this domain is huge. But it can removed if you dislike it.
Description
The containerized deployment section of the server docs mentions no container image being available publicly.
