When dragging a data set into QGIS 3.18.* and previous versions I would get a layer-selection-dialog if the data set contains more than one layer:
When dragging in a data set with many layers it was easy to sort the layers by Number of features descending to group the layers which had actual data in them (and the empty layers was at the bottom of the list).
I think it was @nyalldawson who made the layer-selection-dialog more dynamic and searchable, but also removed all but two columns. The Geometry type and the Number of features are now combined into a Description column and none of the columns are sortable:
I miss the option to sort the layers by Number of features and I think it was rather neat that I could sort by Geometry type to easily select all MultiPoint or Polygon.
I don't consider this a bug, nor do I know the reason for reorganising the columns, but would it be possible to get those features back again?
