What is the bug or the crash?

Hello,

The Merge function fails if the user have a username containing special characters :

I've used the pdal_wrench.exe command with another path for input files and it worked.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Use QGIS On Windows with a username containing special characters such as "Clément"
  2. Try to use the Merge function of COPC with files inside the user home directory
