If that happens, delete the whole es_input.cfg file and the next time the system starts, press a key and the system will ask you to map the controls again |

When I play a video file in the "Library" I can now hear it! Also, I must have turned on the screen reader previously (Main Menu -> System Settings -> Screen Reader) because as soon as the new version booted it text-to-speech'd the song title. I upgraded using the "replace /boot/batocera" method without issue. Will continue to play with the new version and see what other feedback arises. |

Unfortunately not yet. I tried to get full mame compiled, and after I don't know how many hours the compilation failed. Batocera automatically added those folders when I added mame as an option, but it won't work until compilation is fixed. |

I had previously enabled the setting:
Edit: the API exposes a lot more capabilities than what are displayed in the web page. I used cURL to send HTTP GET/POST requests according to the capabilities in the code. I have my console named 'anbernic_rg35xxh' in local DNS so I can make REST API requests like this:

I know the muOS guys are using some battery calibration offset to prevent that battery issue, because it's mostly cosmetic. |

Yeah, there are still some issues with mount points that are probably the reason of that, the system cannot find the variable and returns 100%. Will be most likely fixed after a lot of other internal changes related to mount points are completed. |

I tested Syncthing on the RG35xx p and it works fine, syncing all game saves to the NAS is currently very stable. This way when I pick up my phone or laptop I can continue the game! |

Is it possible to implement a smoother volume adjustment method like holding to change instead of changing on each button tap? When some new audio support gets implemented but the volume suddenly jumps back to 100% each time a setting is changed, having to mash the volume button instead of holding it to quickly turn down the volume seems to be a little inconvenient. If that's the core Batocera design problem, then it may be a little tough. |

When you hook up a USB keyboard it exhibits a similar problem: there's no keypress repeat. If you hold down a letter on the keyboard in most operating systems it will output one letter, pause for a bit ("repeat delay"), and then quickly re-type the letter ("repeat rate"). This doesn't happen in Batocera on the RG35XX+/H, holding in a letter on the keyboard results in one letter output. Might be related to turbo functions? You don't want a gamepad behaving with repeat delay / repeat rate most of time, unless you enable Turbo. |

I just plugged in a wireless receiver for a Logitech mouse/keyboard set. I plugged it into OTG1, the port next to the headphones. I ran Lethal Enforcers for SNES using the RetroArch Snes9x core. This game uses a lightgun. It expects it plugged into controller port 2. In the RA settings: Main Menu -> Settings -> Input -> RetroPad Binds -> Port 2 -> Mouse Index: Set to "Logitech USB Receiver". Now I can play Lethal Enforcers using a USB mouse as the lightgun input. One thing to be careful of: if you press CTRL+ALT+DEL on the USB keyboard Batocera reboots! |

Wanted to use it on DOS and ScummVM games, in HDMI mode, on a tv screen, dosent work, used 2 different usb c dongles that i use on my laptop here on my RG35XX Plus, only bluetooth controllers work, that dosent need a physical conection. |

@neocvera you're not demonstrating what @soaremicheledavid is describing. You're running a Dreamcast game and they are talking about DOS/ScummVM. When I run DOSBox (within RetroArch) and get to a command prompt I'm unable to type freely. The keyboard is not mapped properly. Try to type: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs" Looks like buttons on the left side of the keyboard are mapped to gamepad buttons by default, and this is preventing normal keyboard input. |

Don't know if anyone noticed this yey. I happen to like using the video screensaver, and it looks like most of the videos are boxed rather than scaled. Except the vetical arcade games, they seem to fill the screen vertically at least. DOH, never mind, I forgot to turn decorations off. Took a while to realize it though, most of them weren't there until I got to GameGear. |

Hiya, are there known issues for battery problems? I am loving the update so far but have noticed my battery % is acting strange and I think it may be draining still when device is switched off. Is it just the the battery indicator doesn't display correctly? I switched my device on earlier today and found the battery sitting at 1%. I am 100% sure I switched the device off correctly. |

I can't comment on the battery consumption while off, but I still find that the battery meter in EmulationStation sometimes freezes and fails to update. Checking battery level in RetroArch always seems to be accurate. |

After monitoring it for a while I think this could be contributing to the issue. The battery % not updating correctly was throwing me off maybe. Still not sure about battery drain while switched off. |

Configuration file won’t save. I have been trying to rebind my fast forward key and the default coloration on Gameboy but after saving the configuration file in retroarch, it just reverts upon relaunch. I have heard this is a setting in batocera but can not find how to turn off the overrides. Edit: For those that find this in the future, you can change the gb color by going to Game settings > Per system advanced configuration >Gameboy > Colorization |

Just relax everyone, no need to argue about that :) The next update will be out a 64bit version but it’s not finished yet. There are other changes introduced as well as a distribution change that is taking longer. |

Figured it out, it turns out that if you try to join netplay through the batocera UI (Pressing X) it will load up the game and gives you the message "That a peer has an older version of retroarch, unable to join". So while in the game I went into the retroarch menu to netplay and refreshed for hosts and joined it that way. Not sure if that's a bug in Batocera or its just the two devices (2 RG35XX H using version V40). Just in case anybody else runs into this issue. |

Got hold of an RG35XX-H yesterday and instantly had to give this build a go. Everything so far works beautifully. I've gone ahead and added some new es_system selections to this including PSP Minis, CPS1, CPS2, and CPS3 to help get my head round the Batocera/ES xml. What I noticed is a lack of FBAlpha cores, FBAlpha2012 and FBA CPS1-3 cores in particular, and only FBNeo included with the build. As a test I pulled the cores from Anbernics god awful base OS, and unsquashed the Batocera file system from the boot folder, adding the FBA cores to the libretro libs folder. After re-squishing and testing the cores, which work perfectly btw, I noticed WIFI no longer works with the modified fs. Wondering if there's a better way in linux to modify and add to the original squashed FS, or did I miss something when re-squishing it ? |

V0.8.1 for RG35XX (Old - 2023 version) This Koriki version works for the old RG35XX, but the menu (savestate, etc) on Nintendo 64 don't work (Batocera v0.8.1 is better for N64). |

Not sure why that ones is not resolving correctly, but that's an older version anyways, the latest one is here: also you can always retrieve all those releases from https://github.com/rg35xx-cfw/rg35xx-cfw.github.io/releases/ Note that things are moving into knulli (github here) that is expected to enter public beta phase in a couple of weeks. |

Hello guys, Thanks for the fantastic job with Batocera for RG35xx Plus! Love it. I don't know if I'm the only one, but on v39 and v40, I didn't achieved to launch any NDS games (RG35xx Plus, 2 cards setup). It always crash and go back on the menu, tried with many different games. I tried some other bios files to be sure, but it didn't changed a thing.. I also used a fresh install on the TF1 card with a new and fresh TF2 card, and then adding bios and roms, but the problem remains the same. Any idea? Many thanks for your help! Best regards. P.-S. Also tried a single card setup, but same result... |

When upgrading from v39 to v40 on a 2card setup, delete settings folder in TF2. NDS will launch after this. If you are already on v40, deleting system folder from TF2 will get it working. |

Thank you uzumak11 for your help! Tried it, but it didn't worked... Even tried from a new fresh install v40 from scratch with only some NDS roms and bios. I checked the bios files in Batocera, maybe the problem is related to my roms? I'll try with some others one (the ones I tried are DSI decrypted). Check out the NDS folder, it will have a file called _info.txt. This will list all the supported formats accepted by the emulator. In all probability, they are compressed in a format not recognised by the emulator. I'm on v40, and NDS works fine here. |

OK, problem solved. I was using bad roms format I think (DSi or something). I go better ones and they work flawlessly in ZIP compression. By the way, when using 7z I got a warning message (even if the rom launch anyway). Thanks again for your help! |

Having trouble with Hypseus/Singe Daphne emulation here with Batocera Lite.. Tried quite a few experiments, placing roms,pics,fonts and sound folders in the likes of the Daphne system/config folder and the roms folder itself, but have had no joy when it comes to starting a Daphne game from the menu. I know Hypseus works with the RG35XX-H as I have been able to run and play various titles via SSH.
Has anyone else got this to launch from the menu? cheers |

No worries.. fixed it here and all's working.. What I did was change the path for daphneDataDir in batoceraFiles.py to be the same as the daphneHomedir.. place all the folder for fonts, pics, etc including .ini for daphne and controllers there. Then I noticed in the log that it could not find a 'singe' folder and created that. So all you may have to do is create a 'singe' folder in system/config/daphne and you might be good to go. Can't be bothered reversing my changes to check as it working for me now. |

So I just installed this image to my RG35XX Hand I really like the image. But the menu button (F) on the top of device doesnt work and I cant see where to set it. How do I exit a game? At the moment I have to long press the power button to turn the device off. |

Hello, I have the RG35XX Plus console, let's see if you can do an update please and update the latest version of retroarch and all the cores because I realized that there is a bug here that I explain, let's see when I update the cores from updates from the menu at The latest versions are never saved in the console when you turn it off and on, it is always the same as always, they should be saved well when updating the cores to the latest versions that exist and it doesn't, that is a bug that it has, it is as if it were capped so that it cannot be update the cores see if you can fix that please update the cores well and save them in the next update please thank you |
