As far as i've tested, it's able to find some online hosts playing games, but joinnig results in a "fail to start netplay" message.

Any method to make it work properly?

I have used Netplay locally with two Anbernics, haven't tested with remote hosts.
One thing I noted is that I can't use Netplay with more resource intensive emulators like PSX.
