editor.linkedEditing breaks matching tag highlight

With editor.linkedEditing: true, highlighting of the matching closing/opening tag i html/jsx doesn't work.

Hm, not able to reproduce this on my end. Are you able to share your settings.json? Is there an extension that might be affecting the feature? I'd also try disabling all extensions in the extensions menu, then enable just Rosé Pine -- does the problem persist?
