Latest update to Dahua 0.9.60 removes previous sensors from HA #409
Comments
Yes, no button pressed is showing up any more.
Thanks for responding. Happy to do any troubleshooting you suggest. Also
did the update that came out after I submitted this request. I am going to
try and pull the PoE to the doorbell and hard reset it. Right now, the door
button appears to be inactive when you press you it. I will let you know
how that goes.
Thanks again,
Craig

Not sure why that button disappeared. I will pull out the installation and
try from scratch. This is a brand new install with no restores.
Thx

Removing the Dahua Integration and reinstalling it made no difference.
The old system, with this config, still sees the below items:
- Core 2024.10.2
- Supervisor 2024.11.2
- Operating System 13.1
- Frontend 20241002.3
[image: image.png]
The new system, with this config, shows the below:
- Core - 2024.11.1
- Supervisor - 2024.11.2
- Operating System - 13.2
- Frontend - 20241106.2
[image: image.png]
Not sure if that helps or not, both are different VM's running on the same
hardware and same network.
Thanks,
Craig

I have the same issue. The doorbell_pressed binary sensor has gone. Also using vto2202f-p-s2 |

I am keying off the "Call Button Pressed" and it worked fine until the upgrade last to 0.9.60. Now that binary_sensor has disappeared from the list of entities under the device (not disabled, flat out gone).
I am using a VTO2202F-P-S2 - Version 4.5111.0000. I have tried to use the BackKeyLights but the binary_sensor I created shows up as 'unknown' - I am looking into that as a workaround but concerned the call button is not available anymore.
Also, I am taking errors on the snap-shots from the door with cgi errors which did not occur before.
Also, when I go to enable motion detection in the HA GUI, (previously on by default before upgrade), I get the below error in HA.
Failed to perform the action switch/turn_on. 500, message='Internal Server Error', url='https://IPADDR/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&MotionDetect%5B0%5D.Enable=true&MotionDetect%5B0%5D.DetectVersion=V3.0'
Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks for taking a look at this.
HA Info:
Core - 2024.10.4
Supervisor - 2024.10.3
OS - 13.2
Frontend - 20241002.4
