Somthing like this:

   # Adhoc method for specific params
    def addBooleanParam(self, name, label, help, default=True, **kwargs):
        return self.addParam(name, BooleanParam, label=label, help=help, default=default, **kwargs)

It will make developers life easier to define parameters.
