Hi,

I was trying to use this extension. My OS is windows 10, and my inkscape is up to date. I downloaded the required files. However, the rendered latex layer doesn't present anything. Are there any suggestions on what might have gone wrong?

Thanks.

I have the same issue. Is there any solution for it?

Same on openSUSE 15.1, Inkscape 0.92.2 5c3e80d, 2017-08-06.
The "Latex" and "Drawing" layers are there, all unlocked.

For people who tried this extension because of the textext bug,
textext-0.11.1 fixed it, as indicated in this comment, with these installation instructions for inkscape-0.x.
