Checklist

  • I have searched for a similar issue in this repository and did not find one.

Description

When you launch ShadPS4, a welcome window appears, which contains all the necessary links to information that will help users understand how to use the emulator and its functions.

Reason

This will help users to use ShadPS4, as well as developers to avoid answering the same questions over and over again.

Examples

This is a sketch (It is based on the window of another emulator).
Welcome

This is a rough draft and it's not perfect, maybe I missed something, but it'll do as an example.

The information was taken from https://github.com/shadps4-emu/shadPS4 and
https://github.com/shadps4-emu/shadPS4/blob/main/.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/game-bug-report.yaml

This can be a good idea if it's only on the first launch and be sure it will. Because if you update everyday, this can be annoying but I think you had the same idea.

Maybe we can also ask some config on the first launch like:
[ ] Show compatibility list on the GUI
[ ] Enable auto-update

It's an example

EDIT: I like to check "I have read ...." To start it

It was in another emulator) But I liked it too, so I left it.

If you uncheck the "Show at startup" checkbox, the window will no longer be displayed.

I liked your ideas too, and I think it's worth doing.

I also thought it might be worth adding a new F.A.Q tab in the settings, where there will be some wiki links, a repository for cheats and patches, as well as a repository for compatibility with games. But I don't know if that's a good idea...

I was a little hasty and copied the text (3 lines after the Wiki), but perhaps it was worth writing that you will find all our official links in the "Help" - "About ShadPS4".

Also, I forgot to mention that the questions should be of a technical nature.

Leave this idea for an another request, I think

Leave this idea for an another request, I think

I do not know if such a change is necessary.

I also forgot this point, on the General tab you need to add the ability to enable the Welcome window, in case anyone needs it, after all, all the necessary information is there.
