should it be the case that we have a client inside for the "on the fly" web server to be able to upload a container from an external client? This would fit a use case of using the clair-singularity container with some additional integration. We probably would want some kind of token / authentication too, etc. We would want to be careful to not re-invent the wheel with respect to clair's APIs, which already deliver very nice endpoints for the scan results!
