Basically you need to know how memory(pointers etc...) and tools like Cheat Engine work, and a little bit of C++(I learned it by writing cheats). Guidedhacking is a great website to start with, especially this youtube tutorial by them.

how does one install this mod menu. do i move the files to the gta5 folder.
or do i click on the .exe

Keep in mind that it only works on the steam version

1. Download
2. Unzip
3. Start pHake.exe while GTA is running

1. It doesn't bypass anything
2. Did you compile as x64 Release ? Debug build is broken right now.
3. External cheats aren't detected at all, so no bypasses needed

It has. For cheat engine to work, you need to use the VEH Debugger. Andd I got banned once for using x64dbg in online mode

Hello mate, I'm trying to port to Linux here

It used to work under proton with the same signatures, but right now the signatures do not match.

• Can you confirm that signatures work?
• When game version changes, you just find offsets from scratch then update, right?
• I just need to find offsets and update ReadSignatures() accordingly to fix 'game version does not match cheat version' error, correct?

Yeah, that's what I thought initially, but proton doesn't scramble process memory AFAIK. I'm thinking it's a base address problem rather than an offset problem. I'll have to look into it.

Btw, if/when I accomplish this, do you think it is possible to maintain both platforms from your repo? That way I wouldn't have to cherry-pick every time code updates. And any improvements I'd make get reflected from a single point, rather than me committing to one repo and opening PR to another.

I just added you as a maintainer to the main repo. Feel free to start a linux branch (I think that is the way to go ?). Do you want to keep pHake a console application on linux ?

I have no idea how it can be structured to make sense without branching or separate repos. But branching would result in the same problem as a separate repo, every code update would require cherry-picking. I think we could discuss structure problem after Linux one is in a working state.

In the long run, probably not. I want it to be the same experience as windows. But instead of trying to fix UI right away, I want to make sure core functionality is working before UI.

There were a few people on unknowncheats trying to run pHake via Proton. UI was always the problem, because of some hacky things i do to get SFML running in transparent mode (we can discuss that too).

I understand you. I want to update it but I don't know where and how to start. I know how to use Cheat Engine, Microsoft Visual Studio. You used the SFML-2.5.1 library and you have already provided the download link in the attachments. No problem so far. The problem for me is this: If the version of the game changes, which files will I need to update? I don't know about this, my logic says that I need to update the pLib file, I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, I think there is no need to update the Cheats and SDK files (I can update SDK and SFML-2.5.1 - SFML 2.6.1, no problem, but I think it will work even if I don't update it. You last updated 1.67 from GTA 1.66, pHake 5.9 (GTA:O 1.66), pHake 5.9 (GTA:O 1.67), so the same problem is the GTA version update. Starting from here, I will compare all the files one by one to see which changes you made in which files, maybe this will guide me in understanding the problem, we will see. Do you have any advice for me on this matter, in terms of guidance? Also, I apologize for my English.

Hey, you don't need to update to SFML 2.6.1.
Usually you would need to update a few changed offsets in the SDK files, you can look them up on Yimura GTAV-Classes.
Other than that, the signatures may have changed, you can test this by checking the pointers struct in Settings.hpp after loading pHake in debug mode. The signatures can be updated in the ReadSignatures() function in main.cpp.
NoClip is impossible to update as I did not provide any documentation on how to obtain the necessary information (sorryy). Just take it out of the source by commenting out following line in main.cpp:
menu->Add(noclip);
