For our initially keys the tag-connect footprint will likely remain open. This is so that for any "hacker" keys, they can be used with a debugger. The pins will be permanently disabled for "secure" models. There isn't concern about humidity since the moisture sensitive components will be encased in epoxy still. For future productions, we plan to remove the footprint entirely, and only produce small amounts that still have the footprint. |

interesting. while I dont think tag connect is an overly ideal solution for debug pins on the hacker considering some of the specifics, I think having the option of a debug port on the hacker in case something happens and you cant go USB anymore being kinda important. |

Secure and hacker are physically the same and can both be locked. Secure it just already locked by SoloKeys to SoloKeys signed firmware. |

I actually meant if it's the physically lockable variant of tag connect. ^^ |

considering it's a modified version that doesnt even use a throughhole I doubt you can really lock it. |
