Description of Issue

The Game immediately crashes with exit code 1 while launching when running OptiFine in Forge. The standalone OptiFine profile works great though.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Forge & extract OptiFine into the mods folder
  2. Run Forge

OptiFine Version

OptiFine HD U J2 (Minecraft 1.21.3)

Installation Method

I installed both the standalone version and the Forge mod

Forge Version

Forge 53.0.25 (Minecraft 1.21.3)

Other Installed Mods

I tested it with zero other mods installed, it still crashed.

Log Files/Crash Reports

2024-12-14-1.log
After the Targets: 440 line, Minecraft crashes and the log window shows a red bar saying Process finished with exit code 1
I couldn't find any crash report file in my crash-reports dir

Prior Testing

As I said, it only happens in Forge. The standalone client and my vanilla work normal. Forge without the OptiFine MOD jar also works normal, but as soon as I move the Optifine mod jar into the mods folder, Forge crashes when starting

Additional Information

Minecraft 1.21.3
Apple M1 (aarch64)

See #7856 - put the installer (not the MOD jar) into the mods folder and it will work.
