fluentd 1.15.0 breaks hec raw output, missing blank line #249

What happened:

Upgrading from (@calyptia)-fluentd version 1.3.7.1-1 (Fluentd=1.14.6, Ruby=3.0.4) to version 1.4.0-1 (Fluentd=1.15.0, Ruby=3.0.4) breaks the HEC raw (hec_endpoint services/collector/raw) output because the required blank line between the log messages is just gone. Is this due to a formatter plugin change in Fluentd?

Environment:

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS

Ohh #17 but it worked for us before.

Hi @leowinterde, we do not support the raw endpoint for collecting data to Splunk.
