Images location

will you please change the code so when I export the images from LR classic via the plug in, they will be exported
to the original folder of the images instead of the plug in folder?
the plug in is in my system drive but my heavy pictures are on my other specialized drives.

Hello holowcow,
you can change it by yourself. You must edit the Export Location in the PureRAW Original export preset.
Set Export into Same folder as original photo and un-check Put in Subfolder

Hi dieter! Thank you so much for your work! My hats off to you! Really appreciate your amazing work on this must have plug in! I tried to understand the instructions but I just couldn't get the hang of it. I just need my photos to be saved in the original folder, so I won't have to mess with diffrent photo locations. I want the proccesed dxo images in the same folder and to show up in lightroom right next to the original pictures in the lightroom library grid. Maybe you can do an explanation video? Or just guide me what settings I should put in order for that to work. I will really appreciate it.

Hi holowcow,

first of all I must understand how your current workflow are.

1. Let's say you got a photo in Lightroom: C:\LR\photos\wedding\wedding.raw
2. You export it into the original folder, if I'm right. If yes, you get the intermediate file C:\LR\photos\wedding\wedding_2.raw
3. This file will be processed by DxO and store into:
   1. C:\LR\photos\wedding\wedding_2-raw_DxO_HQ.dng or
   2. C:\LR\photos\wedding\DxO\wedding_2-raw_DxO_HQ.dng or
   3. ?
4. What do you do with the intermediate file C:\LR\photos\wedding\wedding_2.raw? Keep it?

As you see, in 2. , 3. and 4., I'm struggling. :-)
