2.1 doesn't allow having a portaled ComboboxOptions with ComboboxInput inside

With 1.7 I would have:

<Combobox>
    <ComboboxButton> ... </ComboboxButton>
    <ComboboxOptions>
        <ComboboxInput />
        <ComboboxOption> ... </ComboboxOption>
    </ComboboxOptions>
</Combobox>

If I now want to take advantage of the portal prop on ComboboxOptions it won't work because it anchors to the ComboboxInput which in my case is a child of ComboboxOptions.. Is there a workaround to this?
