I'm trying to get to work this brilliant extension in pair of new Nvidia VSR feature on Chrome or Edge. Unfortunately, VSR seems to supports only D3D11 rendering and Ultrawidify D3D9 or OpenGL (the stretching is broken on others). Is there any chance to make it work or any workaround? Or we just must wait to fix bugs in browsers(probably indefinitely)?

Does it support only D3D11, or is D3D11on12 fine for Nvidia VSR?

There's been some reports that D3D11on12 is currently working on Chrome (as per #220) (probably not on edge, as per #219). You can try enabling D3D11on12 rendering, but:

  • that'll bring the "D3D9 pls" banner back, because I haven't found a way to tell D3D11 and D3D11on12 apart yet (and Ive had some other hobbies taking priority over implementing a 'ignore this warning' functionality)
  • that maybe wont work on Edge

Nvidia VSR doesn't work with D3D11on12 for me.
Talking about your extension - i tested few players on D3D11on12 and I can confirm only YouTube works fine. For example Netflix and Disney+ have still the bug on fullscreen.
