By default search results are loaded in the component area. Have you checked that there is no CSS issue? |

I finally found the right widget. So sorry I missed it in all my previous attempts. Not obvious that I needed a template with Component Area to make Smart Search work. But now it works like a charm. The clue was in the code. |

Hi, I'm trying to use Joomla's Smart Search. It was easy to add the search field in the header (in a module position), but the results are not showing.
I compered with Cassiopeia where my Smart Search is working. In Cassiopeia the the results are not in a grid-area that is a module position. Instead "grid-area: comp".
What do I need to add to a suitable section/row in the Astroid layout to make search results visible?
As recommended for Cassiopeia I made a special Menu Item for the search results. The result is a new page opens, but there is nothing there. If I change to Cassiopeia all search results are shown on this new page.
Grateful for any suggestions.
