Suggestion: Motion Guard link to local recording #289

This is a great idea - this or a way to delay the snapshot taken by motion detection by a specified amount. My cameras detect motion but the snaps show nothing of note as it snaps the very instant that motion is detected. |

Great Idea. It would be even better if Motion Guard can store few seconds before & after motion detection (say 10s). RAM can be used as a loop buffer to store first 10s (or less depending on the RAM size) of video which gets dumped to local SD Card (or ftp) once object gets detected. This will also prevent SD card wear and tear. |

This was enquired about recently in discord and it looks like there are no plans to support on camera recording on motion detected, which is a shame as I think this feature could work really nice paired with continuous recording and help retain the features of stock camera firmware without the need to use stock cameras software. |

Hi,
As well as Motion Guard detection leading to sending a snapshot to one of the selected destination services, it would be very useful to have an option to save X seconds of video as a local recording. I'm sure individual users could adapt the code to make this happen, but for those of us without the skillset to do it ourselves, any chance this could be added to a future update?
Thanks!
