Hello,

@ewlsh is currently working on something for gjs similar to ttag but built-in see https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gjs/-/issues/374

He sent a patch for xgettext to support template literals and interpolation and I thought perhaps you'd like to express interest and/or feedback.

I know ttag has its own tooling but gettext support brings lots of benefits.
