server confg change confirmed for 11/16 at 10am, this will require some downtime of www.utsa.edu, per UTS

in other news, UTS tried to migrate the CORS fix this weekend during the maintenance and failed, i'm setting up a folow up meeting with them to discuss next steps, our best guess is there is something different in the configration of www.utsa.edu compared to new.utsa.edu that didn't allow the CORS settings to take place =(
