Whole Application is Blurry on Mac

the whole application, including menubar drop-downs, looks blurry. Neither Seamonkey nor Palemoon have this issue, so I'm not quite sure what's causing it.

No clue. First i’ve heard of it. Looks fine on my end with 14.7, 12.6, 10.11, and 10.7.

Not experienced with mac development but it might be a retina display thing?

it's especially visible in the dropdown menus and stoplight buttons, but it's definitely there throughout. (top screenshot is brass monkey, bottom is seamonkey)

Something that might be related that the icons (ex. in the mail window) are really sharp in the Digital Color Meter in Brass Monkey, but in Seamonkey they're not? (top screenshot is brass monkey, bottom is seamonkey)

Interesting. You might be on to something with the retina displays. I’ll see what i can dig up around the web. Might be due to BM being based on the older SM 2.49.5.

Edit: I was able to find an old seamonkey patch for retina displays and i applied it. The next release of brass monkey and sealion will be built with this patch and should fix the issue. Thanks for pointing it out.
